The definitive four-season mountain walking boot, just got better!  The tried and tested, M4 tech sole, pro-flex midsole and RS/RSD lasting continue. The upper, is re-designed with the ergonomic 360 degree ankle flex from Scarpa’s mountaineering line. The extra height and comfort of the boot, move the performance up slightly, making the boot more suited to the “ aspirant winter climber”. Still B2 rated the boot performs well on snow gullies up to grade 3 level.

B2 Crampon Compatibility
Leather mountaineering and four season mountain walking boots have a stiff flex with the equivalent of a three quarter or full shank midsole and a supportive upper made from high quality leather (probably over 3mm thick). These boots can be typically used all day with C1 or C2 crampons, for example on the easiest Scottish snow and ice climbs and straightforward alpine glacial terrain.
