Terms & Conditions of Sale - Nevisport Online

Order Process

An order confirmation email is sent to confirm receipt of your order. This email is a confirmation of the goods ordered but does not constitute order acceptance or confirmation by Nevisport. Payment is taken from your card at the time that we receive your order. If we are unable to supply the ordered goods you will be contacted as soon as possible and you will receive a full refund of the price paid for the goods. Acceptance of your order and completion of the contract between you and Nevisport will take place on despatch to you of the goods ordered unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it.

Prices

Whilst we try to ensure that all prices on the website are accurate, errors may occur. Where we discover an error in the price of the goods ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option to either re-confirm your order at the correct price or cancel the order. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. Prices quoted throughout our online store include standard UK VAT where appropriate. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. Please note that on occasions some colours in a particular style are at a different price to others. This happens when we have discontinued a colour and have reduced the price.

Sale Items

Please note that sale product availability is not guaranteed and we will inform you by email if your chosen product(s) are sold out. Please allow 5-10 working days for delivery of sale items.

Overseas Orders & BFPO

We accept orders only for delivery to UK and BFPO addresses. We can accept orders manually for BFPO VAT exempt sales outside of the EU valued over £50 but we will need to see your certificate of entitlement before we can process the order. VAT refunds will be made by sterling cheque 30 days after delivery. On occasions oversized items may incur an additional carriage charge to BFPO addresses. Please telephone our customer services department on 0845 257 1344 for VAT exempt sales to BFPO addresses.

Delivery

Our aim, but not guarantee, is to dispatch goods within 24 hours of ordering (orders placed Monday – Thursday) please allow up to 7 working days for delivery. Deliveries will be made Monday – Friday between 8am and 5.30pm. Delays may be experienced during certain times of the year e.g. during sale times and holidays. Deliveries to remote areas of the country may take longer to deliver than times specified. Your goods will be delivered using either Royal Mail or a specialist carrier. All deliveries will need a signature on receipt and if there is no one present to receive the delivery a card will be left. You may specify an alternative delivery address at the time of placing the order if you choose.

Redirection of Consignment Once Despatched:
Unfortunately, we regret to say there is a £20 surcharge should the parcel need to be re-routed to a different address once despatched (We do recommend that all orders are sent to an address where a signature is available, for example your place of work). This charge is levied by our couriers.

Credit/Debit Card Payment

When placing an order, the address given must be the same as that registered with your credit card company. To process your order more efficiently, we also request a land line telephone number (not a mobile) to be used in case of query. Credit card payments are processed by SECpay from whom you will receive a separate notification of payment via email. We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and Delta by secure server.

Ski & Snowboard Bindings

Skis and snowboards purchased via the website will be despatched with their bindings un-mounted for safety reasons. You can however visit one of our stores with your original receipt and our trained ski technicians will mount the bindings Free of Charge. Once bindings have been mounted they cannot be refunded or exchanged without a further charge.

Returns

Unsuitable or defective items may be returned for refund or exchange providing they are received back within 14 days of the original delivery date in brand new, unused condition, in the original packaging and accompanied by a completed returns form. This does not affect your statutory rights.

We recommend that all returned items are sent using an insured delivery service for your own protection. We will refund reasonable carriage costs incurred by returning defective items but we expect you to choose a cost-effective method of carriage in preference to an expensive next-day service. A re-delivery charge (at our standard rates) will apply to all items returned for exchange. Defective products will be replaced without a further delivery charge. We regret that we cannot accept returns of videos, DVDs, books and computer software unless they are found to be defective. The address for any returns is:

Climbing Equipment Returns Policy

Please note that for your safety we are unable to exchange or issue a refund for any new and unused climbing equipment once it has left our premises. Please bear this in mind before you make your purchase. (This does not affect your statutory rights.)
